I have had a weathered GSF in my butterfly garden in South Coventry for the
last four days - loves the bank of Sedum spectible 'Autumn Joy'. I have
seen an occasional one in Rocky Hill over the last week as well - I would
consider these somewhat late sightings.

A Great Spangled Fritillary was present at the Greenwich Audubon Center Sept.
25. That's not unusual, but if someone keeps track of the extreme dates for
Connecticut, that might be worth checking on. The NY and NJ record late dates
are later, but this is still later than normal.
