Today, July 4, I had fresh Delaware Skippers along with several Coral Hairstreaks, a Hickory Hairstreak, an Aphrodite Fritillary fresh Am. Coppers and Pearl Crescents and many other species in my yard in Hamden. Great Spangled Fritillary ia very abundant in my yard this year. I counted 17 on two clumps of Butterflyweed next to my house today and there were at least 15 in my field behind the house. Is this abundance being seen elsewhere??
