Today in Hamden I saw 9 Monarchs, good numbers of Orange and Clouded Sulphurs, Cabbage White, Mourning Cloak (1), and 5 American Coppers. The coppers were a pleasant surprise. Red clover, asters and a few late flowering  Yarrow plants seem to be the few remaining nectar choices.
