Butterfly Sightings

While August has been a relatively quiet month for butterflies, on Saturday, 
August 18, a total of 12 species were present at Natureworks, a nursery on 
Rt. 22 in North Branford.  The complete list is as follows:

Summer Azure (1)
Great Spangled Fritillary (3)
Painted Lady (1)
Red Admiral (1)
Monarch (2)
Silver-spotted Skipper (4)
Peck's Skipper (5)
