Hi All,

Today at Broken Arrow Nursery in Hamden I saw a very fresh Aphrodite Fritillary nectaring on purple coneflower. Also, my boss brought me a Virgin Tiger Moth (Grammia virgo) that he said a mockingbird dropped. Luckily it (the moth) survived the attack!  Spectacular moth!

Start checking those Clethra alnifolia flowers for butterflies. The ones at work are beginning to open. Hopefully the White-M Hairstreaks will appear soon. I'll let you know.
