Monarch update

The following info was obtained from the Monarch Watch website.  
Overwintering  population of Monarchs in Mexico was 28 million vs normal 60 
million. Excellent conditions in Texas due to the abundant winter rains have 
given the have given the Monarchs a good start as they arrived in the US 
Initial reports show good quantities of eggs as the Monarchs move north. 
Hopefully we will have a drought free summer here and the Monarch population 
will recover to normal levels.                      A bit of  non Monarch 
info:caution to anyone traveling to Costa Rica. A researcher was murdered in 
Golfito (southwestern Costa Rica)
