Greetings all:

We spent late morning til early afternoon up on Chauncey Peak in Meriden, and picked a decent species list, as well as good numbers of individuals.

Black Swallowtail             8
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail  1
Cabbage White                5
Falcate Orangetip          100+ (many eggs found on Lyre-leaved, Hairy, and Smooth Rock Cresses, Spring Cress, and Toothwort)
Orange Sulphur                4
American Copper             2
Spring Azure                  23 (including a female laying eggs on Black Cherry buds)
Brown Elfin                      2
Olive Hairstreak               8
White-M Hairstreak          1
Mourning Cloak               6
Red Admiral                    1
Red-spotted Purple (larva) 1
Little Wood-Satyr           1 (a bit early, little guy!)
Juvenal's Duskywing        14
