Hi moth-ers,
This is a followup to my own post on Catocala neogama. I went out on the deck and "The Bride" is still there. The sun is shining on her and she doesn't move. I've noticed this with a number of the big Catocalas; once the fly to the light they seem to hang aroung for days. Anybody have an answer as to why they do this? I've noticed this with C. ultronia too.

Following various reports of Wives and Girlfriends I offer my porchlight Catocala of the night, arrived at 2 AM (closing time), Catocala neogama, "The Bride." She's big and beautiful.
