watching opportunities to this afternoon's dog walk.  

Newington - I-291 right of way field on Maple Hill Ave.:

Great spangled fritillary (first of year)
Red Admiral (ditto)
Banded hairstreak 
Little wood satyr

On the OT side:
12 spotted skimmer (male)
Halloween Pennant
Eastern pond hawk (fem)
