Led a butterfly trip at Haddam Meadows today - MAN! Were there a lot of
Baltimores! I don't remember ever seeing so many there. Many were
ovipositing on the English plantain.

The great majority of the bfs were American Coppers. Had a handful of
Silver-spotted Skippers, a Eurodisney (European Skipper), a Northern Broken
Dash, a few Red Admirals, a couple Clouded Sulphurs and Cabbages, an
American Lady, Monarch, Tiger Swallowtail and a beat up Erynnis of some
kind.

Also - 10 species of dragonflies - 3 damsels.

Headin' back out... can't waste a beautiful day like today!

John
