CBA event June 22

On Sunday, June 22nd, starting at 9 AM,  The Connecticut Butterfly
Association will have a butterfly walk, lecture and plant sale at Bent of
the River, 185 East Flat Hill Road, Southbury CT 06488.  (203 264 5098 for

Plants for butterflies will be offered for sale and coffee and
donuts/cookies will be available.

Ruth Mohr will provide some activities for children near the barn.

At 9:45, in the barn, John Himmelman will present a slide/lecture
'Discovering Moths'.  His book 'Discovering Moths, Nighttime Jewels in Your
Own Backyard' will be offered for sale and he will be available for signing
after the lecture.

The butterfly walks will take place between 11:30 and 1:30.

This is a rain or shine event.  Bring your lunch, plan to make it a day if
the sun is shinning.  Enjoy the trails and fields of this beautiful National
Audubon Society farm.
