Dave and Dale,

We never see these moths, as adults in Ohio, in the Spring or early
Summer.  I'm pretty sure they do not overwinter as pupa in Ohio - there
seems no evidence for emergence in Ohio in the Spring.

Although not Conn, perhaps this observation might help.  Our Winter too,
thus far, is pretty messy.
