>From Hank Golet,10/19, I took advantage of yesterdays weather to check a couple flower gardens in Old Lyme. Kelly's Old Lyme Landscape produced a couple of Cabbage Whites, 1 Am lady and two Monarchs. Griswold Point area had Cabbage Whites a few Orange Sulphurs and 8 to 10 Monarchs. At Kelly's the Monarchs were on verbena and zinnias while at Griswold's the flower garden was plowed under and the Monarchs were on red clover..Talked to Ted Hendrickson and he had been at Harkness and saw at least 5 Monarchs there. All Monarchs seen by Ted and I were bright and fresh......A dozen Monarchs is more than I have seen all the rest of this season.

Lenny, The dates for the White Admirals seen by MaryAnn at Kelly's were one on July 8 and the other on July 27. I think I told you that she has pictures of the Admirals. She also had seen an Ocola and a Firey within the last two weeks. She has a picture of the Firey also
