Lighthouse Point Hawkfest is on

Hi,

It has been decided that the Hawkfest is going forward tomorrow come what 
may.  There are too many people that can't make it on Sunday.

Except for when it was actually raining hard, there was movement of hawks 
and butterflies today.  We had a Merlin sitting on a telephone poll eating 
a goldfinch.

When the sun came out the butterfly garden was hopping with 2 Fiery 
Skippers, a Variegated Fritillary, American and Painted Ladies, Clouded and 
Orange Sulphurs and at least a dozen Monarchs.

The Flight ID seminar and the live Birds of Prey can be moved indoors if 
necessary.  The Lighthouse Tours and Carousel Rides will also be in 
operation as will the children's activities.  Not sure if the Canoe rides 
will be going.

The concession stand will be open.
