Saturday, July 15th- There were 10 participants on the CBA Field Trip to
Flaherty Field Trial Area in East Windsor that found a total of 32 species of
butterflies. The list for the day is as follows:
Black Swallowtail (2)
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (9)
Spicebush Swallowtail (1)
Cabbage White (30)
Clouded Sulphur (12)
Orange Sulphur (12)
American Copper (12)
Banded Hairstreak (1)
Gray Hairstreak (1)
Eastern Tailed Blue (8)
Variegated Fritillary (1) (This species appears to be staging a mini
invasion. This is the 5th report of this species in two weeks.)
Great Spangled Fritillary (16)
Silver-bordered Fritillary (4)
Pearl Crescent (900)
Baltimore Checkerspot (1)

Mourning Cloak (1)
