Butterflies, Caterpillars and the Plants that Feed Them

      Subject:  Menunkatuck's March 8th Program          Just a reminder that Andy Brand will give a slide presentation, Butterflies, Caterpillars and the Plants that Feed Them at Menunkatuck Audubon's March 8th public meeting, held at the Nathanael Greene Community Center, 32 Church Street (Rte. 77), Guilford at 7:30p.m.        Andy, a horticulturist and past president of the Connecticut Butterfly Association, will give a slide presentation that will include beautiful images of adult butterflies, the larval stage of the butterfly’s life (the caterpillar), the host plants the caterpillars need to survive, and the nectar plants that feed the adult butterflies. Creating a backyard butterfly garden will also be discussed.
  Program is free and open to the public and refreshments will be served. Information 203-457-1699.
