Went to a conference at UCONN-Avery Point yesterday. We were outside for a bit (talking about invasive plant species) and we saw several monarchs (5-10). I am unsure of the number, because it seemed as though they were attempting to fly away and getting blown about. A couple were nectaring on one of the invasives we identified--I think it was Japanese Knotweed. Glad it was good for something. Also saw a couple of cabbage whites.

Now that it's getting chillier, don't forget to look through your photos. Members' Night is coming next month--more info coming soon!
