Haddam Meadows

A friend called yesterday and reported that she'd seen Monarchs and possibly Monarch eggs at Haddam Meadows State Park.  I figured I'd better check it out, so I went this morning.  Didn't see any adults, but I did find one egg, which I brought home to rear.  Also saw numerous Cabbage Whites, about 10 Baltimore Checkerspots, and two skippers that I think were Tawny Edged.
