I decided to start the Labor Day weekend early and went to Lyme on Friday,
8/29 where I found the following:

Spicebush Swallowtail (1)
Cabbage White (2)
Clouded Sulphur (5)
Orange Sulphur (2)
American Copper (4)
Red-banded Hairstreak (1) ( This is probably the first time this species has
been found this far east in the state)
Gray Hairstreak (1)
Eastern Tailed Blue (15)
Variegated Fritillary (1)
Great Spangled Fritillary (7)
Pearl Crescent (3)
American Lady (1)
Tawny-edged Skipper (1)
Northern Broken Dash (1)

>From Lyme, I went on to Walden Preserve in Salem. While the butterfly list
was very short, I was able to find a Harvester at the site where they have
been seen earlier in the year. It was a fresh individual, on territory, that
should be flying into September.
