Stopped by Bauer Park today.

For those interested in the area, they have mown paths through the meadow, but left significant areas uncut.

As I walked through the meadow, I thought I saw something, didn't really look where I was going, and guess I got too close to a birdhouse--next thing I knew, there was a bird hovering directly above me, and then it started swooping towards me! Glad I was carrying a CBA net--I waved it a little and the bird didn't get too close!

Around the pond I saw 3 Azures and 1 Pearl Crescent.
In various places I saw 5 Cabbage Whites.
As I walked around the perimeter of the community garden, I saw a few Sulphurs that I think were Orange--they never landed, so I couldn't get a good look. I'm fairly certain I saw a Common Sootywing, my FOTY (is there anything else that's black with white spots near the upper wing tips that I could be confusing it with?) Also 6 Eastern Tailed Blues, and one Monarch egg.
Patrolling the butterfly garden was one male Monarch.
Near the organic garden, another Pearl Crescent.

Shortly afterwards, near the library, one more Monarch.
