Fresh Meadows Sanctuary, Cheshire

On Saturday, 5/31, I visited Fresh Meadows Sanctuary in the morning.   
Despite the mostly cloudy skies, I was able to find a total of 12 species  of 
butterflies.  The list for the day is as follows:
 
Cabbage White (1)
Orange Sulphur (2)
Eastern Tailed Blue (1)
Pearl Crescent (13)
American Lady (1)
Little Wood Satyr (77)
Common Ringlet (2)
Peck's Skipper (13)
Tawny-edged Skipper (7)
Hobomok Skipper (8) (All males)
Zabulon Skipper (1) (male) (My first of the year)
Dusted Skipper (7) (All but 2 of the Dusted Skippers were found in patches  
of bluestem grass)
