Today's early morning walk atop Cedar Mountain in Newington with birding
chum Anita Shaffer was at its end when she spotted a butterfly, It turned
out to be a Common Buckeye, the first I've ever seen in town.
A return to the area in the afternoon resulted in 6 species of butterfly and
3 moths:

Cabbage White
Clouded Sulphur
Orange Sulphur
Eastern Tailed Blue (very fresh - local FOY)
Common Buckeye
Wild Indigo Duskywing

Yellow-collared Scape Moth (Cisseps fulvicollis)
Celery Looper Moth (Anagrapha falcifera)
Chickweed Geometer Moth (Haematopis grataria)
