On Saturday, 9/26, Richard English, Catherine Ferguson and I visited
Lighthouse Point Park where we found a total of 16 species of butterflies. The
list for the day is as follows:

Black Swallowtail (4)
Cabbage White (28)
Clouded Sulphur (19)
Orange Sulphur (5)
Sulphur sp. (3)
Eastern Tailed-Blue (1)
Variegated Fritillary (1) (very fresh)
Pearl Crescent (1)
American Lady (4)
Painted Lady (1)
Red Admiral (1)
Monarch (7) (a very low count)
Silver-spotted Skipper (1)
Wild Indigo Duskywing (1)
Fiery Skipper (3) (2 males, 1 female)
Sachem (12) (A high count, 9 males, 3 females)
Broad-winged Skipper (1)

Hopefully, the weather on Sunday 9/27 will be good so that people
attending the migration festival will be able to see these butterflies.
