I have a few eggs of Automeris cecrops pampina and some larvae of Eumorpha typhon for you.

There will be others from Ben.

Just back....buried.

Subject: Giant Swallowtail Larva

This last Saturday (8/14/10) I took a trip to Robbins Swamp WMA in Canaan, mostly looking for Sphinx canadensis and the Giant Swallowtail, Papilio cresphontes. In the middle of the forested swamp, I came across a 3rd or 4th instar Giant Swallowtail caterpillar - about 3 ft. off the ground on Northern Prickly Ash (Zanthoxylum americanum). This is the same swamp in which Peter DeGenarro spotted a giant swallowtail adult on 7/18/10, so there may be a breeding population.
