Just to add a bit from Washington, there were virtually no butterflies flying this past weekend despite the nearly perfect weather. Milkweed just now in bud and precious few other nectar sources available. I don't have the list handy but species included Great Spangled Fritillary, 1 Common Woodnymph (FoY), 1 Meadow Fritillary (FoY), a couple of Eastern Tailed-Blues, Whites, Sulphurs and a fresh, ovipositing, summer-form Comma.
