butterfly sightings

On Saturday, 5/29, I visited a site on Gungy Rd. in Lyme where I met  Hank 
Golet.  Since I was there later in the day and the sun came out, I was  able 
to find a total of 14 species of butterflies.  The list for the  day is as 
follows:
 
Spicebush Swallowtail (1)
American Copper (9)
Pearl Crescent (7)
American Lady (6)
Viceroy (1)
Little Wood-Satyr (21)
Common Ringlet (1)
Southern Cloudywing (2) (my first of the year; I see this species was  also 
reported by the CBA field participants in Trumbull the same  day.) 
Northern Cloudywing (5)
Wild Indigo Duskywing (1)
Indian Skipper (4)
Long Dash (3)
Hobomok Skipper (1)
Dusted Skipper (5)
 
I went on to Walden Preserve, Salem, where I found the following:
 
Tiger Swallowtail (3)
Frosted Elfin (3)
Pearl Crescent (30)
Red Admiral (2)
Red-spotted Purple (3)
Little Wood-Satyr (30)
Silver-spotted Skipper (1)
Juvenal's Duskywing (2) (very worn)
Wild Indigo Duskywing (2)
Long Dash (2)
Hobomok Skipper (1)
