Good Morning,

Yesterday I drove down to Lighthouse Point to look for migrants. [For me,
this is much closer than Gooseberry Neck and a much easier drive.] The park
there is very nice and our colleagues from Connecticut have done a great
job with the butterfly garden. Everything was blooming, making it a great
butterfly trap.

I was there from about 10:15 - 1:30 and booked 16 species...

black ST
spicebush ST
cabbage white
clouded sulphur
orange sulphur
American lady
red admiral
common buckeye
monarch
viceroy
great spangled fritillary
gray HS
wild indigo DW
silver-spotted skipper
fiery skipper
Sachem

The predominant species [10+ individuals] were cabbage white, monarch,
common buckeye, fiery skipper, and Sachem [what a treat!] The rest were
onesy-twosy, for the most part. My goal was to get good ventral shots of a Sachem
female and I was successful. Most Sachems were quite worn but a few were
very fresh. Photos will follow.

Cheers,
Frank
