photos and google account

After being told a number of people could not open picasa albumn photos, I researched the problem.    I found chats that said this is something new that Google has done (within the last week or two).    It was not a problem before.    I, personally, will seek out another photo site.   Lists like ctleps, ctbirding, etc. require that we post a link to photos.     These messages are no larger than an ordinary text email, and go through quickly.   When photos are attached to an email, it takes much longer for these messages be sent and received.   If anyone an suggest another service other thanPicasa (owned by Google), I would appreiate it.  I want to continue to share my photos.
