The atlas at the DEP bookstore you reference has fine pictures of all
of CT's butterflies, and it is helpful to see a map for the likelihood
of seeing a specific butterfly in any given part of CT.  Your reposts
to CT leps will help give data for  future updates of the atlas.

Most of us carry "Butterflies Through Binoculars" by Glassberg when in
the field.  It is smaller, has numerous photos of each butterfly, and
includes all of the butterflies of the Boston -Washington DC corridor.
CT is right in the middle, most of the species listed occur in CT, and
you never know what might blow in from neighboring states, especially
after a hurricane!
