Pipevine Swallowtail

[Weston Henry]

Saw a butterfly that I was almost sure was a Pipevine Swallowtail, nectaring
on Beautybush (*Kolkwitzia amabilis*) for 10+ minutes this afternoon. It
never stopped flapping its wings so I couldn't be sure of the identification
(is this typical for Pipevine Swallowtails...?), and I had no butterfly net
to catch it with. Seemed to have no interest in Dutchman's Pipe vine
(*Aristolochia
macrophylla*)....maybe was a male.
