Diane Adams and I hiked the white trail to Castle Craig at Hubbard
Park in Meriden yesterday (Sat April 21) and saw the following butterflies:

Cabbage Whites (6)
Duskywings (12+) probably Juvenal's
Anglewings (2)
Falcate Orangetips (6)
Sulfurs (6) probably clouded
Tiger Swallowtail (1)
Black Swallowtail (1) battered with tail area missing, probably male.

We also saw numerous moths flying around a blueberry (?) bush --
black with large white spots. I did not see any yellow, but they
were very active. Not sure what kind of moths they were.
