Today in my Hamden yard I had a Giant Swallowtail flying around. This large beauty is the 77th butterfly species to visit my property in the 22 years I have lived in Hamden. It's been years since I have added one to the list.
At Broken Arrow Nursery, a Red-banded Hairstreak was around again today on Clethra.
