I spent some time this morning - 8-17- 2012 - at Kellogg Environmental Center in Derby. The following is what I found flying, mostly by the huge buddlia bushes near the museum building.

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail... 4
Black Swallowtail... 2
GIANT Swallowtail... 1 ( several pictures obtained)
Cabbage White... 5
Clouded Sulphur... 2
Great Spangled Fritillary... 2
Pearl Crescent... 1
Red Admiral... 2
American Lady... 3
Monarch... 10
Silver spotted Skipper... 5
Fiery Skipper... 1
Sachem... 4
Least Skipper... 3
Tawny-edged Skipper... 1
Dunn Skipper... 1
Zabulon Skipper... 4

On Thursday, at Bent of the River, helping Ken Elkins with his BUGWEEK Camp, we had 1 Red-Banded Hairstreak, among several common Butterflies and moths.
