[Ctleps-l] Steep Rock over the weekend

Various walks at the Steep Rock and Macricostas Preserves over the weekend
produced the following species:
Black Swallowtail
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail
Spicebush Swallowtail
Cabbage White
Clouded Sulphur
American Copper
Eastern Tailed-Blue
Great Spangled Fritillary -- lots nectaring on Monarda, including what
appeared to be very fresh females
Aphrodite Fritillary -- down to one individual
Pearl Crescents -- seemed every Rudbeckia had its resident PC
Baltimore Checkerspot -- two very worn individuals
Question Mark -- one very fresh
Red-spotted Purple
Viceroy -- two newly hatched individuals
Appalachian Brown
Common Ringlet -- from a new brood
Common Wood-Nymph -- tons
Silver-spotted Skipper
Peck's Skipper
Crossline Skipper -- uncommon at Steep Rock
Northern Broken-Dash, Little Glassywing, Dun Skipper -- there appeared to
be witches everywhere on and around the Monarda
Mulberry Wing -- 3
Broadwinged Skipper
