6/3 - North Guilford - Dozens of tawny emperor cats on our hackberry tree,
mostly solo on leaves, many large enough to pupate soon. Had first seen them
on 5/13, when cats were small (overwintered) and hackberry leaves were tiny.

Also have photos.

6/3 Old Lyme, Hackberry trees in my yard are leafed out. Without looking
very long I found 7 Emperor cats while turning over some of the eaten
leaves. One leaf had two with the rest solo.

Also found a different caterpillar that I didn't ID.

Pictures on request.
