Hello, over the past several weeks, a number of you on at least these two Yale listservers have emailed or phoned me about receiving notices that your subscription has been disabled. There are several things I wish to note: (a) these emails are not spam/phishing attempts; (b) you may follow the instructions therein in the emails if you wish, but; (c) for the present I am automatically reinstating subscriptions whenever these notices appear. The details of how/why mailman is deciding to drop subscriptions are being worked on by Yale's ITS department, but one common thread appears to be lingering electronic fallout from yahoo.com accounts that had previously been compromised. This is really an email-server-to-email-server problem, and not something that you as an individual can necessarily affect, so the best advice from me as the nominal list owner is to just wait until this settles itself down. Please do not reply to this thread on either ctleps-l or fcchj-l, leave those lists to their respective content discussions, and contact me directly off-list if you feel you need to. Thanks, Larry
