Just saw a Summer Azure in Alley Pond Park in Queens. I call it this, as
there is no population of any of the "spring" azures (Spring, Northern,
Cherry Gall) here (as typical of all the city parks). It's a typical
situation in that an occasional individual pops out in the spring here and
there (whereas a true spring species is represented by many individuals).
The Summer individuals are also always of the  violacea-like form, whereas
Spring Azure will have lucia and marginata types.
