On Saturday, August 15th, I visited Durham Meadows. While th meadows
adjacent to the fairgrounds have all been mowed, butterflies can be found
along the edges of mowed areas because there are plenty of nectar sources.
The list for the day is as follows:

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (4)
Spicebush Swallowtail (1)
Cabbage White (20)
Clouded Sulphur (29)
Orange Sulphur (5)
American Copper (2)
Eastern Tailed-Blue (4)
Summer Azure (8)
Silver-bordered Fritillary (5)
Pearl Crescent (1)
Viceroy (2)
Monarch (1)
Silver-spotted Skipper (26)
Least Skipper (7)
Peck's Skipper (25)
Tawny-edged Skipper (10)
Zabulon Skipper (1)

All but 1 of the Silver-bordered Fritillaries were flying in the overgrown
area in the south end of the tract, between the water-filled ditch and the
fairground buildings.
