8/22 - Milford Pt, with Jamie Meyers - 5+ Checkered Whites. Most common at
the east edge of the piping plover/least tern designated area. The
highlight was watching one of the males attempt to mate with a female. This
photo shows the male sitting on the forewing of the female:

Sulphur. Patrick Comins mentioned he had a Cloudless at Pleasure Beach last
Wednesday.

8/22 - from Jaime Meyers - Osbornedale SP, Derby - Giant Swallowtail, 6-8
Red-banded Hairstreaks, Hackberry Emperor

The hairstreaks were in the small shady spot near the parking lot where I
had them last week. The emperor was near the hackberry trees at the second
pond across from he Kellogg Center.
