While hawkwatching at Lighthouse Pt in New Haven, I noticed some lep activity. It's not often that you wear a hat and gloves while looking for butterflies. This will be my last decent list for the year.

Highlight was a couple of Fiery Skippers: https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.flickr.com_photos_connecticutpete_22210914500_&d=AwICaQ&c=-dg2m7zWuuDZ0MUcV7Sdqw&r=wPbNkt6T_H4X7m_PlvSFCGU2a9-csNvfRK2IVMi-mp0&m=-y8qo9h2kvODFEUzfbSvZ_IdQaC3y4yJQ8McRXM1Hf0&s=B8acOBMTqu4tNgCQtStOgH8xY8-JRgugnzl3oBeYOcw&e=

Some katydids survived the freeze; I had a couple singing in my yard tonight.
