[Ctleps-l] Osbornedale and Mt Higby

8/7 - I took a look around Osbornedale SP in Derby, nothing really special
but good numbers of some common species:

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail 30
Spicebush Swallowtail 20
Cabbage White 7
Clouded Sulphur 5
Orange Sulphur 1
Red-banded Hairstreak 2
Eastern Tailed Blue 3
Great Spangled Fritillary 7
Pearl Crescent 1
Anglewing sp 2 probably Question Marks
Red Admiral 2
Viceroy 2
Common Wood Nymph 2
Monarch 3
Silver-spotted Skipper 30 (one taken by a Black-shouldered Spinyleg)
Wild Indigo Duskywing 2
Least Skipper 2
Peck's Skipper 7
Tawny-edged Skipper 40
Northern Broken Dash 1
Zabulon Skipper 6
Broad-winged Skipper 2

I also hiked Mt Higby near the Meriden border in the morning, some nice
views from the Sound to Mt Tom in MA.

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail 3
Spicebush Swallowtail 2
Gray Hairstreak 2 (at the parking area)
Pearl Crescent (hanging around a Woodland Sunflower patch in the woods)
Red Admiral (probable flyby)
