[Ctleps-l] More Monarchs

Patrick posted about a lot of the butterflies we have seen at Stratford
Point this week, but I wanted to add that Monarchs are now a daily sight
there for those interested in seeing them, and they should be for the next
few months. They're often favoring a sizable milkweed patch on the
northeast side of the bluff as you turn right while walking out to the
beach. They are also sometimes more towards the lighthouse and in scattered
places on butterfly weed. We should find more and more there soon.
Stratford Point will be open for large stretches of Saturday and Sunday, so
please visit.

I also saw a couple Monarchs at Pleasure Beach (Bridgeport) yesterday.
There is some great pollinator habitat there with a lot of milkweed. Take
the water taxi out sometime to see it and the Bridgeport WildLife Guards!
