[Ctleps-l] question

I'm not sure what could be done in this case, and often not nearly enough
can be done for any of our state-listed animals. However, I passed it along
to CT DEEP's Wildlife Biologist Laura Saucier and asked for her thoughts.

I work with Laura daily in my job at the Roger Tory Peterson Institute of
Natural History with our role in the Audubon Alliance for Coastal
Waterbirds. I know how extremely busy they all are and how understaffed
DEEP is. It's very difficult for even the federally threatened Piping
Plover to say the least, and I wish we all had more resources to protect
what needs it. But thanks for caring and speaking about it, Rich.
