[Ctleps-l] Giant Swallowtails

Yesterday, August 28th, a female Giant Swallowtail was ovipositing eggs on Rue in our Branford back yard when a male approached and tried mating with her.  She few up and they flew in circles for quite awhile and then finally out of site.  Does anyone know that after a female has mated and is gravid, would she also mate with another male?  This female kept trying to loose him.
