Some belated reports from earlier in June:

6/2 – I did some exploring in NW CT. Highlights were a Meadow Fritillary in
North Canaan: https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__goo.gl_rFyCPj&d=DwIFaQ&c=-dg2m7zWuuDZ0MUcV7Sdqw&r=wPbNkt6T_H4X7m_PlvSFCGU2a9-csNvfRK2IVMi-mp0&m=OZATZVBxO49NLxt7dpyp7H3vtKIxSKgePN9yvkEKt3E&s=vsran0uUcYSF4u7ysPTnBShXdqCTSPpI7XuU83sLzPM&e=

As well as a small Tiger Swallowtail that looked pretty good for Canadian
but may have been too big to be one: https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__goo.gl_8oXXzu&d=DwIFaQ&c=-dg2m7zWuuDZ0MUcV7Sdqw&r=wPbNkt6T_H4X7m_PlvSFCGU2a9-csNvfRK2IVMi-mp0&m=OZATZVBxO49NLxt7dpyp7H3vtKIxSKgePN9yvkEKt3E&s=nCaqb8pDnqGLjwPCbn0dwAweUuyOum4uZklmOPqXNf8&e=

I also found a couple nice stands of Roundleaf Ragwort in Goshen:

If I can get access, I plan to check this area for metalmarks in July on
the off chance that they may be there.

Quick stop at Naugatuck Industrial Park - one Monarch

On 6/9 after work, I visited a powerline right-of-way in Berlin that
crosses over a trap rock ridge. Lots of cedars along the path, but I was
between broods for Juniper Hairstreak. Surprisingly slow for grass skippers.
