My frustration of the week is not finding the alleged Baltimore Checkerspots on the mother-lode of Milkweed at Machimoodus. There were thousands of milkweed plants but not much lep action besides Fritillaries. I have also failed to find Ringlets this season for some reason, and I couldn't find the locality for Bog Copper in E. Haddam. I found a nice ode swamp in that area but no cranberry bogs.</div>
