<html><body><div style="color:#000; background-color:#fff; font-family:HelveticaNeue, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif;font-size:16px"><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1440635573011_2484">Today, around 4:30 this afternoon, we had a Giant Swallowtail zip past us in the parking lot at Chaffinch Island Park in Guilford.</div><div><br></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1440635573011_2537">Yesterday afternoon we had a Giant Swallowtail in our garden in Branford. Think it was a male. Could not find any eggs on the host plants it visited. Also had a Monarch and about 5 Eastern Tiger Swallowtails. No skippers in the garden so far this year. Did have plenty of skippers on plants at Detricks Garden Center on Rt 10 in the north part of Cheshire. (spelling of Detricks probably incorrect but you can find it)</div><div><br></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_1_1440635573011_2733">Off topic: Good looks at the Marbled Godwit and several Willets at Chaffinch and 2 young male White-tail Deer with velvet antlers on the road going out.</div><div><br></div><div>Carol & Gary Lemmon<br></div></div></body></html>
