invite you all to a free program this Thursday evening, August 23, at 6pm. Hagaman
Library in East Haven, Connecticut is hosting an event called <u>Protect Our
Pollinators: Gardening to Save the Bees & Monarch Butterflies</u>, and I
hope I’ll get a chance to meet you there!<span></span></span></p>

to all ages—families are especially encouraged to attend. In fact, we’ve advertised
the program most to our local teens, as it was started by a high school student, Daniella Portal, who researched saving the monarch
butterflies for her senior project. Speakers will include Holly Kocet from
Protect Our Pollinators,
















<span style="font-size:11pt">CT Master Gardener </span><span style="font-size:11pt;color:rgb(34,34,34)">Liz O'Connor,</span> </span><span style="color:rgb(34,34,34)">and
any local gardeners who would like to share their own photographs and stories (if you have one to share, please feel free to bring it along!). Refreshments will be served and small packets of milkweed seeds will be
given out to help spread the word (and the seed)!<span></span></span></p>
