Note the header "Special report: Manufacturing and innovation" -- 
that's a drop-down menu that gets you to the other sections of the 
report.

Here is another of those interesting reports on important but 
underappreciated topics for which I like The Economist. This about 
the advances in additive manufacturing, building up parts or 
prototypes by two- and three-dimensional "printing." Cars won't be 
manufactured that way anytime soon, but it is a fascinating enabler 
for entrepreneurs on smaller scales.

And a related fascinating enabler, for entrepreneurial funding, is Kickstarter:
