at the National Film Centre next month as part of a series on Master
Cinemaphatographers of Japan, with a number of Kinugasa’s films shot
by Kohei Sugiyama (including JIGOKUMON/ GATE OF HELL playing) – but no
PAGE OF MADNESS, unfortunately.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

I will be particularly interested in seeing it on a big screen when it plays

experience was watching it in on a rickety steenbeck in the BFI basement in
London with Stephen Cremin performing his own impromtu benshi
